Стрілець: A Specialized Ballistic Calculator for Shooters

Стрілець is a specialized program developed by Bohdan Kachylov for athletes, hunters, and military personnel to assist in calculating the trajectory characteristics of bullet flight and making necessary adjustments during aiming. It takes into account factors such as bullet and weapon characteristics, sight parameters, and environmental conditions. This ballistic calculator is particularly useful for users who typically shoot with rifles or carbines.

With Стрілець, users can determine the number of clicks (adjustments) required to properly calibrate the sight drum at any distance. For shooters using non-standard ammunition, there is the option to manually input values for calculation.

By selecting the model and settings of your sight, inputting ammunition specifications, current weather conditions, and distances, the calculator will provide the necessary values and display corresponding distances for individual elements on the reticle grid. The following data is taken into account during the calculation:

• Distance to target
• Target angle
• Temperature and humidity
• Atmospheric pressure
• Ballistic bullet characteristics
• Wind direction
• Derivation and effects of Coriolis and Magnus
